Our Impact
Our team has a successful track record working for real change for the children of Baja. Please take the time to explore some of our past and current projects, and have confidence that your donation will be put to immediate use! Baja Angels of the Sea has individual active fundraisers for each of these current projects which can be found through their facebook page. Event profits will be distributed via funding active Baja Angels of the Sea projects. We look forward in sharing the metrics of our success after the event!
SUSTAINABLE PROTEIN
in Progress - Hacienda Victoria
All sustainable programs include educating the children on how to maintain and manage the systems in place. Once production exceeds what is needed to feed the children, we will begin selling to local restaurants while the children learn elements of sales, production, delivery, and basic accounting.
We are currently refurbishing a 10,000 gallon cistern which will raise 2000 tilapia every 6-8 months. Old chicken coops have also been rebuilt and are currently producing fresh eggs, with plans to build more coops in the near future.

SUSTAINABLE FRUITS & VEGGIES
Nutrient rich water from the tilapia farm will feed a hydroponic system growing fresh vegetables which is close to being put back online. We have also cleared almost an acre of land and have begun building vegetable beds. An old unproductive orchard will be dug up for the installation of a new watering system utilizing unused grey water before new trees are planted.

A Day of Discovery
Benefiting - Hacienda Victoria
Over $7000 in cash and toys were generated from our last event held at Hacienda in Puerto Nuevo. Nearly forty children from Hacienda Victoria enjoyed a day exploring the arts and sports as local experts provided instruction and inspiration. Since this event, a number of kids have requested and received continued lessons in guitar, boxing, and acting. The day was followed by a fundraising music event attended by over 400 local residents, many of whom have become active volunteers at the orphanage.
Caravan 2 Cabo

Benefiting - hogar del ninos todos santos
Over $9000 in musical instruments were donated to facilities in Todos Santos after a unique performance and individual lessons were conducted by some of Southern California's most talented touring musicians. The event spread awareness through a wildly successful social media campaign and documentary premier held at the prestigious Music Box in downtown San Diego.
ROSARITO WOMEN'S SHELTER
Hacienda Victoria
Hacienda Victoria has recently opened their doors to Rosarito's first Women's Shelter. The current work includes expansion of the building to house more women and their children, as well as a security system to ensure their safety and protection. Please see our video with Baja Roots Founders Quino (Big Mountain) and Bruno (Baja Angels of the Sea) to learn more!
